She was born the 21-st of March, 1945 in Tbilisi.
In 1963-1968 she studied at the art College.
In 1969-1974 she studied at the Polytechnical College. From beginning of her creative work until today she has participated in many exhibitions of applied art in Azerbaijan and other countries.
In 1983 she participated in exhibition of the National Economic Achivements in Moscow and was awarded the golden medal.
In 1995 she participated in the world woman conference in Peking.
From 1974 until 1998 she worked as a teacher.
Many works of art of Sitara are displayed in private and public museums.
